Seychelles is regarded as an all year round destination for holidays, however clients should be aware of the general weather conditions at the time they propose to visit.
- Sailing, kitesurfing and windsurfing: Late May to October, generally force 3 to 6, steady winds both night and day.
- Diving in the Seychelles: All year round but optimum visibility between the months of March and May and late September to the end of December.
- Eco and Walking Tours: June to October, but any period of the year is possible.
- Bird Watching: All year round for indigenous species, June to October for the sea bird colonies.
Climate
Being in the tropics and surrounded by the vast Indian Ocean, the Seychelles climate is pleasantly warm and humid all year round. Annual sunshine and rainfall are high.
- May to October: Average temperature of 27°C and 8 hours sunshine per day. At times the sea can be quite choppy on certain costal areas, washing seaweed on to these beaches. It is the period of lowest rainfall and humidity and the most comfortable.
- October to December: Generally this is a calm period of the North West Monsoon, bringing frequent tropical rain, high humidity, average temperatures of 32°C and 7 hours sunshine per day.

December to March: The period of the North West monsoon, bringing frequent tropical rain, high humidity, average temperatures of 32°C and 6 hours sunshine per day.

March to May: Similar to the October to December period, generally calm seas, light breezes, 7 to 8 hours sunshine per day, average humidity and rainfall. |
