Weddings in Seychelles and Tropical beaches
Planning:
Your wedding date should be confirmed once you've made your hotel reservation. You can get married any day of the week, excluding public holidays.
Late afternoon is the best time to get married, temperatures are cooler and the light is better for photography.
Consider the islands' tropical climate when choosing your wedding outfits. Tight fitting dresses or suits and man-made fibres will be especially uncomfortable. Whatever you decide to wear, ensure your outfits are professionally packed or packed in hard suitcases.
Please also be aware that these make up part of your baggage allowance and that some airlines may levy an excess baggage charge.
You should plan to arrive in the Seychelles at least 3 days before your wedding date. The arrangements will be finalised at the hotel, the guest relations co-ordinator will help choose a suitable location and organise any extra services you need: including make-up, hairdressing, flowers, catering and photographers.
Your wedding co-ordinator will also be there on the day to ensure that everything goes to plan. They will see that your flowers are delivered on time, and will also act as a witness at the ceremony, if required.
