Seychelles promotional DVD wins second award
by STB

The Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) has been awarded for a second time for its promotional DVD – The Seychelles Islands, Another World.

This was at the 46th International TourFilm Festival held recently in Lecce, Italy. The festival promotes cinema, television and audio visual materials which focus on tourism and related subjects.

The first time that STB won such an award for best destination DVD was in 2008 at the TourFilm Karlovy Vary held in the Czech Republic, whereby it received the Prix Jury prize.

The manager of the Seychelles Tourist Office in Italy, Monette Rose, was present at the festival to receive the award for Seychelles, and as a special guest, STB had the honour of hosting 100 guests to dinner on the promotional day of the festival.
