Since 1993, the National Day celebration has been observed principally by the traditional military parade featuring the address by the Head of State and an agricultural and horticultural show, displaying a variety of products for viewing by members of the public.
To commemorate the 27th anniversary of this important national holiday this year, it’s been decided that a national show be held, the aim of which is to showcase the major activities and forces shaping the economy and the process of national development.
Through the lens of a national event spanning across a three-day period (18th to 20th June 2010), members of the public will be able to appreciate the whole spectrum of the local goods and services provided by a number of businesses and agencies; public and private, committed to preparing Seychelles for the future. The show will be backed by an impressive animation of cultural and sporting extravaganza.
