Helicopter Seychelles and Zil Air has announced a new name and identity for their recent commercial joint venture.
The two helicopter companies have merged to now form L’Air Dezil, a name which combines elements of its Seychelles identity and encompasses local, French and English influences.
When translated, the expression depicts ‘L’Air” as the essence and fragrance of “Dezil”, the islands representing the core characteristics of the destination and the new operation.
According to a press release from the new company, the identity reflects pride and sophistication in the services it offers and projects an elegant contemporary message.
The new brand ID portrays fluidity and harmony, a key component in the company’s vision. It further symbolises its uncompromising commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and aesthetic innovation, infusing its ambitious forward planning for the successful growth of the operation in the years ahead.
The company says the arrival of the twin-engine Agusta in July confirmed its commitment to deliver an enhanced broader range of services with emphasis on its entrenched ‘safety first’ policies. This new arrival is scheduled to enter the fleet at the end of August 2010.
The servicing of all daylight operations is being undertaken by the Eurocopter EC120’s and as required to satisfy peak demand, a back-up Jet Ranger Bell 206 remains in service.
