British couple revisits Seychelles for 25th wedding anniversary by STB
Like their treasured wedding on the shores of Seychelles 25 years ago, Judi and Ray Bullock’s recent silver wedding anniversary will be one for them to remember.
Mr. and Mrs. Bullock celebrated this special occasion with a 10-day stay on our islands. They arrived in Seychelles on Saturday May 22 – coinciding well with their anniversary date.
The Bullocks were married in 1985 in a civil ceremony at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Hotel with two tourists from the beach nearby as their witnesses and a few local girls, brought in by the resort, as flower girls.

“Judi was particularly looking for an exotic and romantic location, but one which was affordable,” said Mr. Bullock.
“While there are a number of such locations on the planet, Seychelles seemed to be calling her. Whether you want to call it instinct or intuition, I think she got it right,” he added.
For this momentous anniversary, the couple spent a few nights at Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay and then at Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa on Mahé, Labriz Seychelles and La Reserve Hotel on Praslin. They also met with the registrar who married them 25 years ago.
To make their celebration even more special, Air Seychelles had provided the couple with discounted Pearl Class tickets, while Creole Travel Services treated them with V.I.P transfer on arrival, as well as transfers throughout their stay.
They were hosted to lunch by the Seychelles Tourism Board at the popular Creole restaurant – Marie-Antoinette Restaurant.
